Took last week off due to some travel for but I appreciate you all sticking with me. The good news is we are back! Pregame Fits has you covered once again this week with some Winners and Losers, as well as our favorite player cleats. This week was full of redemption from some previous features and some surprises from players you would not expect. Let's get in to it! Pregame CleatsBrandon Bolden Retro Jordan 1 When in doubt, go to the classics. As we have seen, players around the league continue to show out in Jordan 1 cleats, but sometimes better than a custom pair, you just have to keep it classic. This is exactly what Brandon Bolden did Monday night with his cleats. The iconic Chicago Jordan 1 on a cleat looks super clean. Bolden had a quiet game but wasn't needed much as the Patriots routed the New York Jets 33-0. Stefon Diggs Joker Customs by Mache With all the hype in the box offices surrounding The Joker movie, my hands were tied when it came to including these Pregame cleats this week. Mache, arguably the best custom cleat maker in the league seems to have a pretty tight relationship with WR Stefon Diggs as he continues to hook him up week after week. The details on the painting of the Joker are insane, and I think the purple laces set these off. Diggs continues to heat up as he had 7 catches for 142 yards in Sundays win over the Lions 42-30. Get this man off your fantasy bench! Week 7 WinnersDerrick Henry Off-white MCA air forces are a one way automatic ticket to the Winner section of Pregame Fits. These shoes, (valued at around $2,200) are hands down the most rare sneaker release of 2019. Derrick Henry decided to randomly take these out of the box Sunday for their match-up against the LA Chargers. Paired with a pair of denim shorts, the tropical button down to match and the LV backpack, this outfit was a unanimous winner for us this week. Henry had 22 carries for 90 yards a and touchdown to go along with his Pregame Fit. The Titans defeated the Chargers 23-20. Travis Kelce Known for his Pregame Fits, it was a bit of surprise it took Travis Kelce until Week 7 to get a spot in the Winners section. Kelce's outfit was my favorite this week by a long shot. Just everything about this outfit goes well together. The mink coat like Frank Lucas, the shades, the Louis Vuitton duffle and matching roller...go ahead Kelce! I expect that this isn't the last we will see of him on Pregame Fits this year. The Chiefs went on to beat the Denver Broncos 30-6 on Thursday night despite losing Patrick Mahomes leaving the game with an injury. We wish Mahomes a speedy recovery, the NFL needs him and so does Pregame Fits. Kyler Murray So I took some heat back in Week 4 when we included Kyler in the Loser section. But this outfit is exactly why we expect so much more out of the rookie when it comes to the Pregame Tunnel. This is how you redeem yourself! The Gucci Windbreaker and the Nike Air Fear of God 1's is the type of Fit we are used to seeing Kyler Murray in. Leave the American Eagle jeans and white polo at home Kyler, this is how you do it! (Check out Week 4 blog for reference). The Cardinals went on to defeat the New York Giants 27-21 as Kyler picked up his 3rd win on the year. Week 7 LosersDeAndre Hopkins & Deshaun Watson Both of these guys have been in the Winners section multiple times this year. We here at Pregame Fits were actually shocked to see this on Sunday. Since they both wanted to wear tie dye, they both get the honor of sharing the Loser Section of Pregame Fits in Week 7. It's a no brainer DeAndre Hopkin's Fit is way worse than Deshaun Watson's, but none the less, the QB-WR connection are both deserving of this honor. D Hop we really don't know what you were thinking with that choice of pants. Losers on the field as well, the Texans fell to the Indianapolis Colts 30-23. We expect a bounce back both on and off the field from these guys. Dalton Risner & Ron Leary Like QB'S, Pregame Fits tries not to pick on offensive lineman when it comes to their outfit choices. Some Nike athletic wear, a suit, pretty much anything will keep you out of the Loser section. But you show up looking like this, well we really have no choice. Offensive linemen Dalton Risner and Ron Leary wanted to stand out before their Thursday night match-up against the Kansas City Chiefs. We have no issue with guys trying to stand out, but you bring attention to yourself with the Vince Wilfork overalls, you better show up on the field. The Bronco's offensive line gave up 9 sacks to the Chiefs! Forget about the overalls fellas, protect your QB! Imagine getting blown out 30-6 at home and having to leave the field dressed like these two guys. I imagine they will stick with the sweatpants and hoodie look next week. Week 7 HighlightThe man who is featured in GQ almost regularly, the guy who is married to one of the highest paid super models in the world, the six time Super Bowl winning QB...yeah it was time we included him in the Highlight Section of Pregame Fits. Tom Brady at 42 years old continues to dominate the NFL and this time the New England Patriots look even scarier with an elite defense. People can say whatever about their strength of schedule so far, but they are making this look too easy. Off the field Brady continues to show why he is featured in GQ magazine. You can most likely catch him in a custom made suit or a pea coat, the guy always keeps its classy. The Patriots shut out the Jets 33-0 Monday night and at this point it is looking like we will be watching yet another Super Bowl with the Pats in it.
