Week 5 and we are keeping our foot on the gas! Pregame Fits is picking up right where we left off. Week 5 showed us that we may be dealing with a new cleat king that we would have never expected. We also have two of our favorite looks from the tunnel and one of our not so favorite fits.
Lets get in to it!
Jerick McKinnon Custom Bomber Nikes
The Godfather of custom cleats Mache laced up Jerick McKinnon with these custom "shark bomber" custom Nikes. We are always a fan of the bomber paint jobs because it gives us that Bape feel. Also the white pair with the gold bottoms are crazy clean. We have to include these this week as Mache did his thing once again. McKinnon had a very silent day on the field as the San Francisco 49ers got blown out in a shocker 43 to 17 against the Miami Dolphins.
Logan Ryan custom Grateful Dead SB's
I mean I don't think anyone can argue that Logan Ryan isn't the cleat king of the season so far. The Giants Colorway Grateful Dead Nike SB's...stop it!! We are shocked Logan Ryan is doing this week after week but we can not deny him. He seems to keep going harder and harder but these are going to be hard to beat. With all the hype around the Grateful Dead SB's these past months these are ridiculous. On the field though the New York Giants lost once again to the Dallas Cowboys 37-34.
Demone Harris custom Travis Scott Nikes
I am not going to overreact, but these are the cleanest cleats we will see on a defensive end all season. Demone Harris took it to a new level with the Chiefs colorway Travis Scott Jordan 1's. And after Travis Scott's recent release of his McDonalds meal what better timing for these. The Kansas City Chiefs are starting to look more human though after losing to the Las Vegas Raiders 40 to 32.
Week 5 Winners
Robby Anderson came through in the drip! Not only is he having a solid season on the field, but off the field he has been coming through with some heat. The Christian Dior tee, the Amiri dancing bear jeans and paired with the classic Bapes, Robby went off! This just goes to show you it doesn't have to be the flashiest fit to be a Pregame Fit winner. On the field Robby went for a big day of 8 catches for 112 yards as the Carolina Panthers beat the Atlanta Falcons 23 to 16.
Big Trusss! It's about time Mark Ingram got his feature in the Winners section of Pregame Fits. Ingram has come close a few times this season but he finally breaks through. It was no doubt the Off-White Jordan 5's that gave him the nod. The Off-White jacket was just for good measure. Keep expecting big things from Ingram when it comes to Pregame Fits. He finished up the day with 57 yards rushing as the Baltimore Ravens defeated the Cincinnati Bengals 27 to 3.
Week 5 Losers
So some of our staff said church pastor, some of them said Violet from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. But the best one we heard regarding Akiem Hicks' Pregame Fit was Suge Knight. We could not pass up on the opportunity to include this in our Pregame Fits Loser section. It is not that the fit itself is all that bad. It's more the pose in the picture and who he looks like. We had to bring light to this all blue suit and turtleneck from Bears defensive end Akeim Hicks. The Chicago Bears took down the Tampa Bay Buccaneers though 20-19 on Thursday night Football.
Week 5 Highlight
It's time we talk about what DK Metcalf is doing so far this season. at 6 foot 4 230 pounds it's no secret why DK has been unstoppable this year. DK had another huge game Sunday night as the Seattle Seahawks beat the Minnesota Vikings 27 to 26 in the last seconds of the game. DK had another monster day going for 83 yards and 2 touchdowns. During his combine people were low on the now 22 year old wide receiver due to his route running abilities. But after starting the season with 22 receptions, 496 yards and 5 touchdowns it's clear to say those people were wrong. DK and the Seahawks are still undefeated and looking like a Super Bowl favorite. Keep eating DK!
