It's hard to believe we are already a quarter in to the 2019 NFL season. So far it has been full of teams with surprising records, players with surprising stat lines, and just as important, people with surprising outfit choices. Pregame Fits has you covered with what we saw in Week 4.
Below are our favorite cleats, along with some Pregame Fit Winners & Losers.
Cam Jordan Kickasso Jordan 1 Customs
Cam Jordan reached out to Kickasso for a custom pair of Jordan 1's and he did not disappoint per usual! The Jordan 1 has been seen all across the league this year, but these customs might be the best pair I have seen so far. The Saints colorway and the New Orleans patterns, the detail on these are crazy. The Saints went out to beat the then undefeated Dallas Cowboys 12-10. Cam Jordan and the defense had a huge day holding Zeke to only 35 yards rushing.
Dede Westbrook Nike Vapor TripArt Customs
TripArt is a local artist based out of Maryland, all credit to him on these custom Nike Vapors. These really stood out to me Sunday, probably because of the all gold silhouette, laces and cleats. The Jaguar pattern really sets these off, along with the custom money art. Dede has a decent day with 5 catches for 66 yards. But it's still Minshew Mania down there in Jacksonville as the Jaguars beat the Broncos 26-24 on a game ending field goal.
Jarvis Landy and Odell Beckham Jr Custom Nikes
I know it's only Week 4, but I am going to go out there and say this is the best cleat tandem in the league this year. Odell hasn't missed this year with his pregame cleats and it was about time his sidekick Jarvis jumped in on the action. Jarvis stepped it up this week with the AirMax 97 customs in the Browns colorway. These may have led to his break out game with 8 catches for 167 yards. The custom Travis Scott 1 Nike Vapors from Odell though, my favorite cleat this year. Odell always seems to step it up every week. On the field he had a very quiet game with only 2 catches for 20 yards, but the Cleveland Browns still beat the Ravens in a divisional match up 40-25.
Week 4 Winners
As soon as AJ Brown stepped of the plane we all should have known he was finding the endzone Sunday. The all snake skin two piece is loud, but in a good way. AJ also included the Dolce & Gabana Sunglasses and matching YSL shoes and duffle bag. He had a huge day with 3 catches for 94 yards and 2 touchdowns. The Titans went on to beat the Atlanta Falcons 24-10. Check out the kid from Ole Miss on Instagram, he might be one of the best dressed players in the league @1k_alwaysopen.
Game down in Miami and you wear the Miami Sharks "Steamin" Willie Beaman Jersey! That's an automatic Winner feature on the Pregame Fits page. Keenan Allen hasn't disappointed once so far this year with his Pregame Fits, so it was about time we showed him some love. The thought that went in to this jersey shows how much he cares about his Pregame Fits. Allen had an okay game with 5 catches for 48 yards, but he wasn't needed much as they were playing the terrible Miami Dolphins. The Chargers went on to win 30-10.
Week 4 Losers
Really didn't think Pregame Fits would ever have to include a kicker, but here we are. McManus decided to show up to the stadium looking like he was about to attend Ultra Music festival. I don't hold special teams players to a certain standard when it comes to Pregame Fits, but this is the easiest way to find yourself in the Loser section. The visor, the 80's zip up, just none of it is even close to working. The Denver Broncos went on to lose to the Jaguars, so McManus has the pleasure of holding two L's this week.
I already know this one is going to stir the pot, but hear me out first. In recent weeks Kyler has shown up in Gucci jackets, Fear of God 1's and other respectable fits. But in Week 4 he decided to look like he was selling jeans at American Eagle. I know Kyler is better than this with his Pregame Fits so that is the main reason he finds himself as a Week 4 Loser. Kyler and the Cardinals find themselves winless on the season as they lost to the Seattle Seahawks 27-10 on Sunday. I'm not too sure Kyler will bounce back on the field next week, but in the Pregame Tunnel I have confidence he will get himself out of the Loser section of Pregame Fits.
Week 4 Highlight
Mahalo Marcus Mariota. Welcome to the highlight section. Was it the 227 yards and 3 touchdowns that landed him here? No. Was it the 24-10 bounce back win over the Atlanta Falcons? Also, no. It's definitely his best Pregame Fit of his entire 5 year career! Throwing up the Hawaiian "shaka" sign off the plane, he knew he was in his bag with this one. Travis Scott Jordan 1 lows were the perfect shoe to go with this classy yet casual jacket and pants combo. Keep it up on and off the field Marcus!
