To start, I just want to thank everyone for the support I received last week surrounding the page. It was nice to hear all the positive comments and I just wanted to say thank you!
But enough of that, lets get in to the real reason you came to the page, the Pregame Fits of Week 3. This week may have been my favorite week of football so far, and not just because the New York Giants got their first win. Week 3 was filled with plenty of fire outfits, but definitely had the same amount of head scratchers.
Tremaine Edmunds SR Off-White Customs
All the credit to Ryan Bare and SR Customs on these Week 3 cleats for Tremaine Edmunds. "Bills Mafia" and the Buffalo colorway, the detail on these are crazy and it is no doubt why I had to include these this week. The Bills keep circling the wagon as they remain undefeated beating the Cincinnati Bengals 21-17.
Darius Slay Nike Vapor Untouchable Customs
Big Play Slay sent us back to our Cartoon Network days with the Ed Edd n Eddy customs. The Nike Vapor Untouchable has been the most customized cleat this season and for good reason. One of my all time favorite tv shows on a Pregame cleat. The Lions ended up beating the Eagles 27-24.
Week 3 Winners
Saquan Barkley & Sterling Shepard
Saquads & Shep were all business for their trip down to Tampa Bay for Week 3. These Pregame fits gave me a Bad Boys 2 Mike Lowry and Marcus Burnett vibe, so they are part of our Week 3 winners. The suit color of Sterling Shepard sets it off and with the casual Nike's on his feet for the perfect balance. The New York Giants ended up beating the Bucs 32-31. Shepard had a huge day with 7 catches for 100 yards and a touchdown, while Saquan suffered a high ankle sprain late in the first half.
Jacoby is a sleeper when it comes to Pregame Fits, so it was about time to include him in the Winner's section. Travis Scott Jordan 1's last week had me on the look out for him down the tunnel in Week 3, and he did not disappoint with the Yellow Air Fear of God 1's. Always been a fan of the white tee under the denim jacket as well. Jacoby is keep the Colts alive in the AFC South after their 27-24 victory over the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday.
Week 3 Losers
You know sometimes how the more you look at something the more you start to like it? This started happening to me when I saw Kenny Stills walk down the tunnel for Week 3. Then I laughed and said "yep that's gonna be on the Loser section". This outfit gave me Russel Westbrook flashbacks and not in a good way. But Kenny did have a solid game Sunday with 4 catches for 89 yards as the Texans defeated the Chargers. Like KG told the late great Craig Sager, go home and burn that suit Kenny, we don't ever wanna see you in it again.
I really didn't think anyone was going to top Kenny's outfit, but boy was I wrong. I start every Sunday thinking it's going to be difficult to find Losers for Pregame Fits but then players like Amari Cooper walk in to the stadium and I no longer have that problem. I really don't even know what to say about this outfit. The extra high turtle neck, the real tight vest, the early 90's sunglasses, none of this is working. And for that reason, welcome to Pregame Fits Loser section Amari. Zeke we also see you back there, you're on my radar for Week 4.
Week 3 Highlight
Daniel Jones aka Danny Dimes, the highlight section is yours. Every sports outlet has been talking about the Week 3 performance from the rookie out of Duke. With Daniel Jones being named the starter for the New York Giants it was time to see what the kid could do. 336 yards passing and 4 total touchdowns including the game winning 7 yard rush has Giants Fans like myself more excited than ever. On behalf of all the fans on draft day who said "noooooo why would the Giants do this to us" I would like to apologize. The future is now, and Danny Dimes is here to stay. He will take on the 0-3 Washington Redskins in Week 4.
