Pregame Fits decided to switch it up this week. Some things are more important than football and the fits the players are wearing. One of these things would be My Cause My Cleats Week in the NFL. For those who aren't familiar, the NFL gives the opportunity to players to choose and partner with an organization they find important. These players then support these causes by wearing custom cleats that are later auctioned off. The contributions from these cleats are donated to the charities and organizations. For Week 13 we decided to highlight some of our favorite cleats and shed light towards these great organizations. It also gives us the opportunity to show off some fire cleats! Lets get in to it! My Cause My CleatsTerry McLaurin, Boys and Girls Clubs of America As a product of the Boys and Girls Clubs of America I had to include Terry McLaurin's My Cause cleats! The Washington wide receiver teamed up with ArtsUndefined to make sure he had some heat on Monday. The color combination on these are crazy, along with the Boys and Girls Clubs logo. The mission of this organization is "to enable all young people to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens". The Boys and Girls Clubs of America has given some of the best memories to children around the country. I know this organization was a big part of my life and millions of others. The Washington Football Team shocked the Pittsburgh Steelers 23-17 on Monday. Juan Thornhill, Suicide Prevention Lifeline Kansas City Chiefs safety Juan Thornhill teamed up with SR Customs to bring these Suicide Prevention Lifeline cleats to life! The words "tomorrow needs you" and "there is hope" can be found on these cleats, as well as the 1-800 number to the hotline. These cleats showcase just what the Suicide Prevention Lifeline is all about. This organization provides "free and confidential emotional support to people in suicidal crisis or emotional distress 24 hours a day, 7 days a week". This organization helps out with such a huge crisis in society. Once again, we love everything the Suicide Prevention Lifeline is doing to help out across the nation! The Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Denver Broncos 22-16 on Sunday. Stefon Diggs, American Heart Association Artist Mache laced up Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs with some heat yet again. This time for a great cause, the American Heart Association. Mache put a little twist on these with the Bills colorway throughout and Comme de Garcons hearts all over. We love these cleats and everything they stand for. The American Heart Association "has been fighting heart disease and stroke for nearly 100 years". Between the Mache design and the American Heart Association's impact, these cleats are our favorite of the week. The Buffalo Bills beat the San Francisco 49ers 34-24. Diggs had 10 receptions for 92 yards. Desmond King, Autism Speaks Tennessee Titans cornerback Desmond King reached out to artist ArtsUndefined to help him with his Autism Speaks custom cleats. The colorful puzzle pieces and neon laces attracted us right to these. Autism Speaks is an organization that "is dedicated to promoting solutions for the needs of individuals with autism and their families". This is always one of the more popular organizations across the league and for great reasons! The Tennessee Titans lost to the Cleveland Browns 41-35. DeVante Parker, Starlight Children's Foundation Miami Dolphins wide receiver DeVante Parker and his nephew partnered up with the Starlight Children's foundation for his My Cause cleats Sunday. We loved these cleats due to the Dolphins colorway and portraits of both Parker and his nephew PeeWee. Also Mache the artist never misses, so good decision by Parker letting him lace these up. The Starlight Children's Foundation provides hospital wear and games to hospitalized children. Such a great organization that helps out children in hospitals across America. Their goal is to "deliver happiness, because happy kids heal faster". What is better than that!
The Miami Dolphins defeated the Cincinnati Bengals 19-7.
