The NFL is officially back! That also means Pregame Fits kicked off this past weekend. After a great Week One of football I decided to start things off with some of my favorite looks and also some looks I just can't wrap my head around. From watches being worn on the field, to pregame cleats, week one had it all.
Below are some of my highlights as well as my week one Winners & Losers.
Odell Beckham Jr Yeezy Nike Vapor Untouchable 3
Definitely one of my favorite pregame cleats from week one has to be OBJ's Yeezy colorway on his signature Nike Vapor Untouchable 3. Pretty sure this colorway is undefeated.
DeSean Jackson Nipsey Under Armour Icon Spotlight
Have to give respect to D Jax for rocking the Nipsey Hustle pregame cleats on his way to a huge debut back in Philly with 8 catches 154 yards and 2 touchdowns. D Jax is rumored to continue wearing these cleats and will be auctioning a pair off each week with the proceeds going to Nipsey's children.
Week 1 Winners
D Hop was in his bag Monday night (literally) with 8 catches for 111 yards and 2 touchdowns. And even though the Texans lost in a nail bitter, he is still a week one Pregame Fits Winner. Should have known he was up for a big game when he arrived with the metallic LV duffle.
Also have to give the nod to last years MVP for his "all business" Pregame Fit. Look good, play good was definitely true for Patty Mahomes who threw for 378 yards and 3 touchdowns in the Chiefs win against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Week 1 Losers
It's usually hit or miss for me when it comes to Cam Netwon's Pregame Fits, but for Week 1 I'm going to have to go with a big miss. I'm confident Cam will bounce back both on and off the field next week after his Panthers lost to the Rams 30-27. Keep the hats, ditch the short sleeve 3 piece suit.
Playing against the Denver Broncos I understand the rookie was going for a wild wild west look, but this just ain't it. The cowboy hat was a good touch but I think he lost us all with the full plaid pattern suit. Raiders were a winner Monday night, but the rookie starts off his season in the Loser section of this weeks Pregame Fits.
Week 1 Highlight
At this point it's just Odell being Odell. OBJ decided it would be a lite flex to play in a $190,000 Richard Millie during his debut in Cleveland. After being asked about the watch post game it seems like Odell will be wearing the watch again in Week 2 (as it is not against NFL rules). Be on the lookout during their match-up with the New York Jets Monday night.
